The 67th edition of the Berlin International Film festival took place from February 9 to 19. Official partner of the event, Glashütte Original comes back with this video on the iconic moments of the festival.
The lack of applied markers and limiting the Roman numerals to only 12:00 and 6:00 is a decision which I enjoyed here. The hands are glistening white gold and filled with Super-LumiNova too — including the chronograph seconds hand. In daylight, legibility is not an issue since the glossy hands contrast well against the black of the dial. I particularly like the ‘double-G’ counter weight on the end of the seconds hand.I’ve always had a soft spot for black-dial chronographs such as the A. Lange & Söhne Datograph and 1815 Chronograph, therefore it’s no surprise that I find the Glashutte Original Watches Review Replica Senator Chronograph Panorama Date appealing. The dial layout may not be to everyone’s liking but overall that is a well-designed, well-made, and mechanically interesting watch. Sure there are different chronographs with in-house motions that cost less, but they don’t really provide the very same items that this does. The added rubber band is a nice touch and a sign which Glashütte actually would like you to look at this as a casual view. The Glashütte Original Senator Chronograph Panorama Date is now available for $16,400 on a bracelet and $14,600 on a rubber strap or leather strap with contrast stitching. First things first, the Glashütte Original Senator Moon Phase Skeletonized Edition watch that you see here isn’t actually a new watch. Glashütte Original really put out a rose gold variant in 2012. But that was a limited edition variant of that only 100 pieces were made. On the flip side, this new version, which was announced late last year, will be a standard production model. So if you missed out to the rose gold variant in 2012, now’s your opportunity to get the Senator Moon Stage Skeletonized Edition watch, albeit at a different case material.
